The benefits of vitamin F and the benefits of pistachios

Vitamin F combines two important fats, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, necessary for body growth.

These are two essential fatty acids that cannot be produced by the body, but can only be absorbed from the diet.

Omega-3 fatty acids are composed mainly of ALA, which is then converted into eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). ALA works to reduce inflammation in the brain, joints, digestive tract and lungs. Its most important benefit is to support growth and development, especially fetal growth.

In addition, omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to help reduce symptoms related to mental health, especially depression and anxiety.

Omega-6 fatty acids are high in LA, which are then converted into other healthy unsaturated fats. It helps reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease, and helps improve blood sugar control.

Omega-3 and omega-6 also function to nourish and maintain tissue layers in cells, by supporting water transport in the cells. Another function of omega-6 fatty acids is to protect the cells responsible for moisturizing the skin. This fat also helps reduce inflammation, which causes autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis.

To supplement vitamin F every day, we can increase the diet with foods such as: soybean oil, olive oil, corn oil, sunflower seeds, pecans and almonds, linseed oil, seeds flax, chia seeds, hemp seeds and walnuts.

Pistachios contain coronoid, which helps to reduce the risk of eye-related diseases such as cataracts and eye problems in old age.
