What do land warblers eat? The experience of raising land warblers
The ground warbler is a bird that is played a lot in Vietnam. Although this bird is not as popular as the crested bird, there are many children who love to play and stick with them. So how is this bird raised? How are their habits and food? Blog Pets will share the experience of raising warblers right here.
How to choose the Land Warbler
In order to start raising land squirrels, the first thing you need to do is to have in hand a land magpie, right? To have a satisfactory land warbler, in addition to spending money to buy, you can also learn how to trap the ground. The way to trap the ground snare is quite similar to the way that you can refer to it.
Select birds by appearance.
Beautiful ground warbler is one with tall legs, long and slim body. The plumage of the land warbler, you choose the one with thin fur and cover the body. The bird's wings choose those with clear white lines, white to white, black to black. Regarding the tail feathers, choose the wide and long version. In a short period of time, it has to regularly spread and break the bridge.
The bird's head, you choose according to the criteria of the square forehead beam, the neck is tied. The bird's beak is to choose a thin lower beak with a deep edge. When standing, always keep your head straight and stand tall. Many brothers choose to have a large head, but some brothers choose a child with a medium head. This is up to preference as long as it's not too big for a bird's body.
How to choose the land warbler according to the way you play.
To choose a good bird according to the way of play, it is best if you have a brother to bring another ground warbler. When they are close to each other (relatively), they will sing, and when playing positions, we can evaluate this warbler. The one that ruffles its feathers and puffs out the white lines on the wings and tail, this one has playability.
In addition, if you come across a few cockroaches with hopscotch movements, acting like lion dances, you've won the lottery. This is a characteristic of fire birds and plays very well.
Price of Land Warbler
About the price of land warbler, you already know it all. Although the price of the land hut depends on each animal, it is usually not very high. Therefore, brothers with normal economic conditions can also buy good singing stilts.
Price of young land magpie: Fluctuating 100k~300k depending on each place and each bird
The price of adult land warbler: Ranges from 400k~1 million VND per head. Those who have good playing skills and good shape can be up to 2 3 million or 1 child.
Food for Land Warbler
Food for ground warbler is similar to fire warbler and coal warbler. I have introduced food for them in the article how to raise coal warbler, you can refer. I'll say it again here a little bit, mainly because of the different amount of food.
Food for ground warblers is still mainly fresh bait and bran for them. You also feed them with fresh bait, locusts, crickets... The difference with the stilts is that they have a smaller body, so the amount of food for them will be less. Each land stork usually consumes about 20 worms or locusts, crickets... (morning 10 pm 10 pm), unlike the stork warbler, which consumes 50~100 fish. Therefore, raising land huts will be less expensive and more difficult than coal huts.
How to tame the Dat Bui Warbler
In order to tame the land hut, you need to have a certain patience. Raising any bird requires a certain amount of patience. If you are impatient, I advise you not to play with birds. As for how to tame the mud hut, it will take us at least a month, depending on your child, it may take longer.
Week 1: If you catch the mud squirrel, you need to teach it to adapt to the captive environment. The brothers put the clay pot in the cage along with 1 bucket of water, 1 cuve of rice worms. Keep the cage covered like that and open it every day to check the water and food. After about 2 or 3 days, you add one more cuvette mixed with bran and reduce the worm in the other. The goal is that the worm can adapt and eat the bran.
Week 2: At this time, the bird is gradually getting used to being kept in a cage. This week, please bring the bird to a quiet place and open the cage. Then there are 2 possibilities, and if you see where your bird is, then apply it correctly.
Case 1: You see that the bird jumps and jumps smartly, and the bulls don't hit their heads in the cage, then this is an easy to tame warbler. Then you replace the 2 worms with 2 bran coops and one of these 2 bran coops has a little worm. Bran is just enough to eat for a day. Every day you come in to see more bran and change the water for them. In the last few days, it is possible to slightly open the cage shirt to let the bird get used to the daytime environment.
Case 2: You will encounter a rather timid warbler. The expression is that it will jump wildly, jump like it doesn't regret its body, bump into the cage, break its tail... Then you go back to week 1 to let it get used to the captive environment and be less afraid. When you think it's ok, then continue doing it.
Week 3: By this week, you have started to cover half of the bird cage. Simultaneously with that, the brothers made a deep cut, changed the bran and let 2 crickets absorb water into the bran. The purpose is to let crickets stick to bran and for birds to learn to eat bran. In the afternoon, check if the water has bran or yellow bird droppings, we have successfully fed bran to the birds. Otherwise, give 3 4 more water-soaked crickets to feed the birds. If a child refuses to eat, it will take about 3 or 4 days for you to supplement it with worms lest it lack nutrition. During this time, you should move the bird to a crowded place so that the bird will gradually no longer be afraid of people.
After the bird has eaten the bran, you should not put fresh bait in the freezer anymore, but use your hand or stick to feed the bird with fresh bait. That way it will learn one thing that we are its owner, it will gradually stop being afraid of us. Guys just do the steps slowly so that it won't be afraid, don't burn the stage and it will be broken.
Bathing practice for the Earth Chick
The ground magpie is very picky about the bath, so bathing the groundhog is quite difficult. So when you have practiced bathing it, choose only one type of pot, if you change it, you have to practice again from the beginning. Unlike warblers, they are bold and easy to learn to bathe.
In order to practice bathing the mud hut, the brothers connected the cage with the cage with the bath. In addition, you put all the food out and at the same time put in the bath (without water) some worms, crickets. Do this for the bird to jump into the bath for about 2 3 days, the bird will get used to it.
After the ground warbler got used to the bath, the brothers began to fill the basin with water with a low water level. At first, the bird will stand on the wall to peck deeply, but gradually it will also swoop down to eat. At that time, gradually let the water rise. If the bird stubbornly refuses to bathe, let the bird bask in the sun for a while. Soon it will come down to eat bait and bathe.
